The first I Can Karaoke! group course began September 15 and has proven to be a great success! 10 adults have committed to the 6-week course to learn new singing skills, make friends and gain confidence in a structured and supportive environment.
The group ranges in age from 25 to 70 and includes singers of all ability, experience and styles. Singing in front of others does not have to be terrifying and it is inspiring to watch people step outside of their comfort zones and grow musically.
Karaoke was invented in Japan in the early 1970s and has taken the world by storm.
Several Kelowna bars and pubs offer weekly karaoke and rehearsing your performance with real problem-solving skills makes the experience so much more enjoyable!
Space is limited to 10 adults and the class takes place from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Session 2 begins November 6 and ends December 11. Call Kim to reserve your spot.
